RAPID CHANGING PRECAUTIONS
With new outbreaks of the Coronavirus rippling through the country, the restaurant and hospitality industry has been hard hit. Many more people are staying home to dine and cook so while the wine retail sector may benefit restaurants and brasseries are clearly not having an easy time of it.
As the current state of the virus has been rapidly changing, and consumers continue to take new precautions, it has become challenging to keep tabs on the health of the wine and spirits markets.
WHAT ARE WINERIES & DISTILLERIES DOING?
More and more of Activ8’s wine and spirit customers are canceling events or temporarily closing their doors, unable to pay staff to watch over their ever-increasing empty restaurants and tasting rooms.
During this trying time, we’re seeing an increase in tasting rooms offering private tastings to costumers willing to venture out but also eager to limit their social contact.
ONLINE SHOPPING AS AN OPTION
In order to keep businesses going, many Activ8 winery and distillery customers are also turning to their online business to offer wine club members and the general public a reduced rate and/or free shipping.
Email Marketing & Loyalty System
To further support our customers Activ8’s Training Director, Brandy Varga, is scheduling several webinars to show you how you can effectively promote your online store and wine clubs, and keep in contact with your customers while also keeping them engaged with your business.

April 6th at 10am pacific time
Each session will be followed by a brief Q&A session. No RSVP is required.
Inventory and Shipping Rates
If you are not sure how to temporarily update your online inventory prices, shipping rates, and/or Club offerings this would be a good time to understand how.

ACTIV8 CUSTOM EMAIL CAMPAIGN SERVICES
Additionally, if you would prefer to have us create and send an email to your customers on your behalf. We are temporarily offering a reduced rate of 50% off a custom email template.
The turn-around time will be quick on our end and includes adding your logo, an image, and a personal message from you to your customers. Once you approve the email we will schedule and send it to your chosen customer list.
Once this difficult time has passed you are welcome to continue using your email template for future communications.
